Karen Carrell (Townsend)

On January 16, 2023, our friend, colleague and Old Goat Alumni, Karen Carrell (Townsend) had a heart attack that required triple bypass surgery. She spent 7 days in Central Washington Hospital and is now staying with a family member until she can return home. Karen has worked for the Lake Chelan School District for many years where she is a bus driver for students with special needs. She is expected to be off work for at least five months while she recovers. We started this GoFundMe for Karen knowing it will be difficult for her to cover her medical/living expenses, while she is unable to work.
