Karen Atkinson's Cremation Fund

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Karen Atkinson, who passed away on June 12, 2025. She was the daughter of Susan Atkinson, and the mother of Alex Atkinson, Markus Peek, and Amanda Peek-Janssen. She brought so much laughter and kindness to our lives, and we are devastated by this loss. We were not prepared for the financial burden of the cremation expenses during this incredibly difficult time.

We are working to honor Karen's wish for a cremation, then a celebration of life with friends and family. The costs associated with the cremation include funeral home fees, cremation fees, filing fees, an urn, and traveling or postal costs, as well as helping with the celebration. It has been estimated to be $2500. Any contribution, big or small, would be deeply appreciated and would help alleviate the financial strain on the family.

We understand that not everyone is able to contribute financially, and we appreciate any memories or support you can offer. We are asking for photos and fond memories to share at her party.
