My name is Bobbie Brown-Daciolas and I am starting a fundraiser today for my sister-in-law Karen Daciolas. Four years ago Karen was diagnosed, with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. Karen has had multiple surgeries and treatments, but her cancer is still spreading. Karen has handled her surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation like a warrior.

Everything that Karen has gone through over the last four years has not stopped her from taking care of the most important people in her life, her family. Her whole life is dedicated to her husband and her two children.

Karen is a completely selfless person who has always put everyone's needs above her own. Today that needs to stop. It is our turn to take care of Karen. Karen is a person who asks for nothing and gives everything. No matter what fear and uncertainty she has been facing she stops to help everyone.

Karen puts aside her fear and her pain to help make someone else smile and laugh. It is now our family's biggest fear that we are going to lose one of the most amazing, loving and selfless people who we have the privilege of knowing.

Karen is being treated at Loyola Hospital. It is a very good hospital but, now it is time for treatment hospitals that are out of network or where treatments are not covered at all by insurance. Karen will never be the one to ask for help because she is always giving it.

Kenny and Karen have been together for 35 years and they have two beautiful children who need their mother more than ever. Theirs is a love story that is nowhere near ready to end.

Please help us save Karen's life. The money raised will go to Karen for medical treatment, surgery, medication, travel expenses to different treatment facilities or whatever Kenny needs to help treat and save his wife's life.

Cancer is such a cruel disease. Karen has had to deal with immense pain, has been on a roller-coaster of emotions facing the fact she can die and leave behind her family and this world. Still, Karen does her utmost best to keep on a brave face for her husband, her children and her family. This cruel disease strips a person of their dignity, of their hope and gives a sense of hopelessness. Karen is back in the hospital again today for the second time in a week. The doctors at this point are running out of options. Karen is running out of time. We need to act as fast as we can to get her into the right hospitals and with the right doctors with the right treatment plan.

Please help Kenny in his fight to save his wife's life. I cannot picture his life without her in it. When you are fighting such a terrible disease, your family should not have to worry about a financial burden. We are all going to help Karen and Kenny with whatever they need. Right now they need all of the prayers and love we can possibly give them, and peace of mind they can afford the treatment to save her life.
