Hello my name is Chris my family and I are raising money for a celebration of life and memorial service for my uncle who passed this holiday season. A few years ago maybe more than I know he realized something was wrong. He went to many doctors to try and remedy his problems. In the end it was a large mass behind his eye and many other problems he succumbed to. Living a very humble life and never leaning on others, he did not have anything monetary, though he was rich in his soul.Adriaan always laughing, and making everyone around him laugh. He had a positive attitude, the leader of the pack. His friends called him "Big A".

Adriaan was a Professional musician. His passion was music, sailing the ocean, lots of laughter, family and good friends. He said he had a good life. Music and talent poured out of him. He played piano, guitar, percussion. Adriaan, Rick, and Ron created the Alleygators, a band from South Pasadena. They played music throughout Southern California. Rick and Adriaan started Zen Jazz based in Las Vegas. They played venues including the MGM. The world will miss a good hearted, loving, brother, uncle and dear friend. Keep on laughing and playing music Adriaan.

We love you and miss you. We love him and the world is a dimmer place with his passing. We are asking for for help to fund a memorial fitting to the way he lived life. He was a good man, great Uncle and an awesome musician and he had no regrets. Help us honor him in the way he deserves.
