Breast cancer finally came for me but it never stood a chance! I underwent bilateral mastectomy surgery on December 29, 2025 and I am extremely lucky to be able to avoid chemo and radiation. While I am healing beautifully and feeling great mentally and physically, I am now suffering the financial repercussions. Even though they take second mortgage out of my paycheck each month for my family to have health insurance, I still have to pay thousands in medical bills.
