Help Karangwa Fight for Life

Greetings from Rwanda! My name is Godfrey and I have started this fundraising campaign on behalf of my brother, Vedaste Karangwa. My brother, Karangwa, is 38 years old with a wife and two sons who are 3 and 1 years old. If you are lucky enough to know Karangwa then you know that he is a wonderful man who is loved and respected in his community. He is the man who will always be there for you, the one who stands with you at your wedding, and holds you up at the funeral of your loved ones. He is a man who sacrifices his time and money to help others. Now he is in desperate need of your help.
On August 26 Karangwa as diagnosed with cancer. The cancer has ravished his stomach and spread to his liver, lymph nodes and bone marrow. Every doctor we have seen has said there is no hope for him, at least not here in Rwanda. Currently he is at Kanombe Military Hospital but each day he stays there his pain increases and he becomes weaker and weaker beacuse he is unable to eat.
After much research and talking to many doctors we see that the best chance he has is to travel to India for treatment. This, of course, requires funding that we simply do not have. We need to raise at least $25,000 to get Karangwa to India where we believe he can recieve the best treatment. The $25,000 would cover travel for Karangwa and a caregiver, chemo-thearpy if that is what is necessary and support for his wife and children since Karangwa's job was their only source of income. We are under extreme pressure to raise this money as quickly as possible since the doctors believe that he does not have much time left.
