UPDATE: We are devastated to share that Kara, our dear friend, family member, teacher, coach (and so much more), passed away on April 14, 2023, after bravely battling ovarian cancer. Kara was surrounded by family and friends and, in true Kara fashion, showed incredible strength and selflessness until the very end. Although Kara never sought the spotlight, we will continue to honor her legacy by raising awareness for ovarian cancer and celebrating her life.
Kara has shown remarkable resilience in her battle against ovarian cancer since her diagnosis in 2022. Despite undergoing successful treatment and achieving remission, her condition has recently progressed to an advanced stage, and she faces new challenges on a daily basis.
In this difficult time, we want to show Kara that she is not alone. Her selflessness and generosity are a testament to the person she is, and we believe that we can rally around her in support. While we may not be able to cure her illness, we can offer support and love to lift her spirits. This can include making a donation, sharing her story with others, or offering words of encouragement.
We thank you for considering this request and ask that you keep Kara in your thoughts and prayers as she continues to fight with strength and courage.
