Help Kara Kick Cancer

My name is Caleb Russell and I, along with my brothers and sisters, are raising this money for our sister Kara Russell Mitchell. She was diagnosed with stage four metastatic melanoma on April 12th of this year. She turned 31 in May and has been aggressively fighting these past few months. She is a loving wife to her husband Danny and wonderful mother to her four-year old son Owen. She is the kindest person I know and I’m happy to be her brother. Coming from a large family we have always loved and taken care of each other, and now I’m asking you to love and help take care of her too. Between the surgeries, medications, supplements, and strict diet, the financial toll is excruciating. She is currently undergoing immunotherapy, and unfortunately has developed other medical conditions including type 1 diabetes as a side effect. We are coming together with everything we have and I’m asking for your help too. I know things are tough for a lot of people and I don’t expect this money to cure her, but it will help with the stress and the medicine insurance won’t cover. Anything you can donate would be appreciated. We have a long and hard road ahead of us and we are going to do everything in our power to get through this with her. Kara is strong and a fighter!
