It’s hard to believe it has been a little over a year since we lost our sweet Kara Bryson. Not a day passes without her friends and family thinking of her. Kara’s 18 years left an incredible mark on the hearts of so many, and her presence is deeply missed throughout our community.

Lake Junaluska was a place dear to Kara and her family, and now there is a meaningful opportunity to honor her life with a memorial bench placed in the butterfly garden overlooking the lake. This special spot will serve as a place of reflection—a beautiful reminder of Kara’s joy and light, surrounded by the wonder of God’s creation.

Kara was sunshine personified, always encouraging others to see the beauty in the world. This bench will honor that legacy, offering her loved ones a place to remember her while continuing to feel her spirit close by.

We invite you to consider donating in Kara’s memory and in support of the Bryson family as we keep her light shining. Our goal of $5k covers the entire cost of the memorial bench and will be paid directly to Lake Junaluska for the supplies and labor necessary.
