Hello my name is Kara.  I have been fighting and surviving cancer my whole life.  I had leukemia when I was 2 1/2 and had chemotherapy and radiation.  The dose of radiation I had has caused side effects from other cancers to deterioration of my bones.  In 2017 I hade a brain tumor removed from my back right of my head.  In 2018 I had 3 tumors removed from the front left side of my brain. I have recently found out that I have 3 brain tumors again. I will be going to Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN in April to have Gamma Knife surgery radiation on two tumors and Brain tumor removal surgery behind my left eye. I will be at the hospital for at least a week having appointments to get ready for the surgeries and to find out what else is going on. The recovery time for these procedures can be 3-4 months.  We will need help with traveling expenses, medical, lodging, and food for our family. Thank you very much.
