Kaptain Ken's Last Ride Home

On Sunday, May 24th, 2020 in Oakland, CA my big brother Kenny took his last ride and  was involved in a fatal bike accident, where he was pronounced deceased at the scene. One of the toughest loss we've taken, and I am at loss having to do/write this.

Forever a town native and because he grew up with the struggles of the WSO urban community, life wasn't so easy for him. He was raised by our single-mother and had to overcome many obstacles. But that never stopped him from being the loving, caring and generous being he was to anyone he met. His contagious and positive energy would light up a room and anywhere he went people knew his name. You either knew him as Kaptain Ken or kaptainfreaky69 and his name should tell you the kind of person he was. Kenny showed love to everyone he met and was truly one in a million. His favorite things to do was spend time with the people he loved, fish, camp, cook, collect kicks and dress fly as hell. During his lifetime, he always made sure to make the best of every situation and lived his life to the fullest.

There will only be ONE KAPTAIN KEN in this lifetime and may the impact he made towards all of his loved ones be remembered forever. May we continue to keep him in our memories and continue praying for him. Please let us send the Kap off on his last ride home.
