Please help us raise funds to support our brother, Shaun also known as KaptainKoolWhip as he works to restore his life, his business, and his ability to provide for his family.

As a 100% disabled Navy veteran, Shaun began streaming nine years ago. What started as a way to cope with social anxiety and begin working on his mental health eventually became something so much more. Over the years, Shaun built the KaptainKoolWhip business into something he truly loves and takes immense pride in. It has also become an important source of income for his fiancée and their two young daughters.

Shaun’s generosity extends far beyond his own household. He also helps support his parents. His father (also a Navy veteran and firefighter) is currently receiving hospice care after battling stage 4 cancer for the past seven years. While Shaun has been spending his time with his parents and helping provide his father with around the clock care, his property was burglarized.

Approximately $15,000 worth of business equipment was stolen, along with personal belongings, irreplaceable memories, tools passed down from his father, and his daughters’ karate equipment and toys. The theft has taken away the equipment Shaun depends on to support his family and has deeply violated the personal space and sense of peace he deserves, especially at a time when he should be preparing to say goodbye to his father.

Shaun is more than a veteran, a father, a fiancé, and a son. He is our brother, and he brings an incredible amount of happiness, support, and joy to the people around him. His presence has a way of making people feel welcome, understood, and less alone. He gives so much of himself to his family, his friends, and even complete strangers. Whether he is helping new parents find baby supplies, spending hours troubleshooting someone’s audio setup, or staying up all night talking someone through a mental health crisis, Shaun consistently shows up for others.

Anyone who knows Shaun or KaptainKoolWhip knows that he always goes above and beyond to help. He often says that you can pay for things in three ways: with money, with time, or by trading your experience. Shaun has spent years giving all three to the people in his life. Now, it’s time for us to give some of that love and support back to him.

We are heartbroken that our brother is facing this loss during such an already painful chapter of his life. Any donation, no matter the amount, will help replace the equipment he needs, rebuild his business, and give him and his family a little stability during this incredibly difficult time.
