Hi my name is Xee Vang. I'm creating this GoFundMe for my husband Kao Yang, who is 42 years old and was diagnosed with Stage 4 Primary Malignant Neoplasm of Duodenum Cancer. A brief detail of what a primary malignant neoplasm of the duodenum is a rare tumor in the small intestine that can be adenocarcinoma, lymphoma, or other types of cancer. Everybody who knows my husband Kao, will describe him as a humble, hard working man, a loving husband and a caring father to 6 kids (age 22-6 years old). 8 months ago, of June 2024, we were rushed to the hospital as Kao was not feeling well, vomiting and leg swollen. The doctor pronounced Kao with the Primary Malignant Neoplasm of Duodenum Cancer, Stage 4. The news shocked all of us and we had taking it very hard on our end. At this rate, it causes Kao to lose weight rapidly, which break my heart to see him change so much within 8 months, since the cancer has spread to his lung and kidney, which have put him on administrative leave of absence from all 3 jobs, to focus on chemotherapy. As we fight this journey side by side with my husband, we are facing financial struggle. I'm here to ask for any type of donation, doesn't matter small or big, it will help toward Kao's medical billing, including chemotherapy, expenses, traveling from and to doctor's visit, and hospital. Kao receive chemotherapy treatment once every 2 week. We just wants Kao to be able to fight this cancer, focus on his chemotherapy with no stress and to be able to spend time with his kids freely while he is still able to.
