Kanwaljeet Kaur

Hi, my name is Arinder Singh. My wife, Kanwaljit Kaur, (Kamal to those who knew her), recently passed away. She was a hardworking and loving mother, as well as a valued member of the community. Kamal passed away on September 12, 2023 from a stroke after surgery. A few days before, she had been feeling sick at home, and when taken to the hospital, was told she had a brain hemorrhage. She was immediately taken into surgery, and we thought she had been saved. Later that night, she had an unforeseen aneurysm while being kept on a ventilator.

Kamal was a loving mother of two daughters, Mehar, (3 1/2 years old), and Daman, (15). She worked tirelessly as a Certified Nurse Assistant in Burien, and lived in Kent WA. She was a beloved member of the hospital care team, and her diligent work meant so much to her patients. She loved our family more than anything in the world, and we are devastated she was taken from us so soon. We migrated here from Punjab, India, and have worked our whole lives to make a better future for us and our family. I am grieving, and taking care of my daughters at home. Please support us, I am struggling financially and can't make ends meet anymore. I am not able to keep my job and continue providing for us, I need to be at home with my daughters. Any money would go directly into paying the bills, and keeping us afloat. I would be beyond grateful for any support given to us.

Her funeral service is on October 7th, at the Marlett Funeral Home in Kent, Washington at 10 am.
