Update: On Tuesday night, sweet Kanon went home to be with the Lord. Please continue to pray for the Houchin and Rutherford family as the days to come will be challenging and emotional. May they find peace and comfort in knowing he isn't suffering anymore, but in His Savior's arms. Lindsay has asked people to pray for her to not become bitter through this situation. May they find joy and reassurance in the small things. Jesus' plan is far greater than our understanding. Please pray for healing and comfort for the families.
As most know, Kanon Rutherford is fighting for his sweet life right now. He is 2 and a half months old and the youngest of 4 children to Lindsay and David Rutherford.
Over the weekend, Lindsay found Kanon having spit up and aspirated during his afternoon nap, yet no pulse was found. He was rushed to the emergency room and on the way, they found a pulse. However, he wasn't able to breath on his own. He was transported to Children's Medical in Dallas, where he is giving everything he has.
With countless tests being run and the stress of not knowing what's to come for such a little one, we can only imagine the emotions Lindsay, David, Melanie, Gary and the rest of their family are currently feeling. On top of everything, Lindsay and David are having to make sure their other three kids, Luxiee, David and Gunner, are taken care of.
For a family that means the world to ours, I pray we may rally together to take the stress of all the medical bills to come off their shoulders. They give without any questions to so many people, may we return the favor with love. Their time should be focused on loving, looking after, and praying for sweet Kanon.
