This amazing, not afraid of anything, smiles about everything, fierce gift from God is having the surgery we all knew would take place one day.
Eight years has passed way to fast. It seems like yesterday I was praying and pleading to God on my knees that my daughter would be ok and we would get to bring her baby home. Kannon was born with spinal bifida which caused other major problems. He has a shunt due to hydro. Severe scoliosis, one kidney, clubbed feet and is paralyzed from the waist down. But...... anyone who has ever met Kannon knows he was definately God sent, he blesses ALL he meets. Does what most said he would never do and then some. He has changed many lives in his short eight years for the better.
Kannon will be having his first BIG Surgery that needs to be done for more reasons than one. They will be removing part of his spine and adding rods. Very complicated and even more so with Kannons body and how all his organs and body are made and shaped.
As of right now at 6 am March 13th this surgery is scheduled to take place. If all goes well with no complicatuons Kannon will be in the hospital a week. Then home on bed rest for another 2 weeks.
Brittney will be missing work until Kannon heals and can return to school. Dalton will be out of work for the surgery.
We need prayers most importantly. I am asking for some help to pay for fuel, food and bills while they are out of work.
I promise to keep this updated during the surgery, after, and healing process.
