“As some may know on May 11th, Kaniyah had a drowning incident that left her in the hospital comatose. This has been a long and rough road. As a mother you never want to face the decision of whether you choose whether your child lives or dies, so I decided to give her more time to allow her body to make the decision. After almost 5 long months of fighting, Kaniyah has decided the fight was over. Kaniyah May have left this earth but she leaves us with but joy and happy memories. I love you baby girl and your memories and joyful spirit will forever live on!!” -Shay
