Ka’Niya Cureton

On August 11th, our family and community suffered an indescribable loss with the tragic accident involving 17-year-old Kaniya Cureton. Despite the best efforts to save her, Kaniya succumbed to her injuries on August 18th, leaving behind a profound void in the hearts of all who knew her.

Kaniya was a vibrant and spirited young woman whose passion for singing and love for her family were central to her joyful life. Her bright smile and infectious energy touched everyone she encountered, and she will be deeply missed by all.
