Kane Thomas: A Faithful Father & Warrior for Christ

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Kane, who went home to be with the Lord on June 2nd, 2025 . He was a devoted father, a proud member of the Chitimacha Tribe, and a man who worked tirelessly to provide for his three boys.

In recent years, Kane found Jesus and became deeply rooted in his faith. His relationship with God transformed his life, and he became a true servant — not only to his family but also to his church and community. He spent his final chapter walking in the light of Christ, sharing His love with those around him.

As we grieve this tremendous loss, we are working to honor Kane with a funeral that reflects his faith, his heritage, and the love he gave so freely. Unfortunately, the costs associated with these services have added an unexpected financial burden to his father.

This amount will help cover the cost of transporting Kane so he can be honored in two meaningful ways: with a service at the church where he found Jesus and gave his life to Christ, and another with the Chitimacha Tribe to honor his heritage and their traditions.

Even in the midst of profound loss, Kane’s father is working tirelessly to make these two services possible, ensuring his son is remembered with the love, faith, and cultural respect he deserves.
