Kane Landers

It’s with the greatest sadness and devastation that we share with you the sudden passing of Kane Landers (43).

On Tuesday the 08/07/2025 at approximately 14:00pm, Kane was en route back to his home, from his work site near Logan. Kane was travelling along Mundoolun road, when an on coming Ute struck Kanes work truck. Kane was on his way home to the Gold Coast to celebrate his wife Stacey Landers birthday.

Kane was airlifted to Gold Coast University Hospital, the staff did all that they could to save him, however his injuries were far too severe. Kanes strength and determination to be there for his family was evident until the end, as he remained alive to make it back to the Gold Coast. Kane passed shortly after arriving to GCUH, and was surrounded by the love of his Wife Stacey, their two young Children and one of his closest friends Dave.

Kane was the backbone of his family, the rock, the strength and provider. He leaves behind Stacey, his 3 children Harvey, Grace, Rueben, and his father Doug.

Kane was not only the pillar of strength for his family, he was a pillar for the Community. The ripple of grief has extended throughout Kanes league and cricket community, where he spent his spare time mentoring and instilling confidence into the boys he coached at football, including his 9 year old son.

Anyone who knows Kane, knows of what an incredibly generous person he was, he would give anyone the time of day, the shirt off his back, the loyalty of genuine love and friendship.

Now Kanes family are the ones in need of support, as they navigate the impact of this loss. Costs surrounding funerals are incredibly expensive, and Kane has been the main financial provider for his family, which as you can imagine, has left Stacey in a very vulnerable and uncertain financial position.

Stacey and the Children need the financial support, so Stacey can focus on being a Mum, the grief, and giving Kane the farewell he deserves.

Thank you for your support.
