I had heard about a local woman who started a golf apparel business, right out of her apartment in Dartmouth Nova Scotia! I sped over in my car to meet her and give her a hug immediately!

You see, as a golf ambassador and golf teacher and lover of the game , I know how hard the golf business can be. Every aspect of it is hard at times, but yet so worth it!

Kandace, opened Kandy Golf 4 years ago. She design the clothes, and I love her hard work and determination! Covid almost shut her down, but she pivoted to online sales.

The hard part about selling golf apparel is that the orders goes down, but she’s gotta come up with the money upfront to get it produced! Banks don’t lend the money easily, even though their yearly sales and books show they are quite capable of making a profit. Customers love their clothes and they are acquiring new golf clubs and pro chops yearly.

Year after year they struggle to get the cash upfront they need. This year they can’t get it. They are struggling. My buddy.

I know everyone has their charities and battles and places they feel their money should go, I get it! But if each golf enthusiasts have $20 to saving Kandy Golf, we could save a women’s business!

A woman in the golf Industry needs me, I say “I’ll try!” If you can, let’s give Kandace Buchanan, the gift of support and love she needs, so she can continue to do what she loves!

Her Kandy Golf line needs to go on! The fun line brings joy to the golf course and beyond!
