Kandersteg International Scout Camp

Hi my name is Eloise and I am a scout at 1st Framwellgate Moor scout group. I am 12 years old and trying to raise money to go on a scouts trip to Kandersteg, Switzerland in 2027.

Whilst in Switzerland, I will be meeting new people from different countries and learning new skills. We will be there on the 1st of August which is when lots of scouts from lots of different countries come together and parade and learn from one another.

In order to raise money for this trip I am going to cycle 40km. The furthest I have cycled previously is 12km so this will be a big challenge.

I am completing this challenge with my scout group and when we have all completed the ride we will have cycled the equivalent distance from our scout hut to Kandersteg as the crow flies.
