Hello, my name is Jacob, I am 12 years old and I am fundraising to go to an international scout camp at Kandersteg in Switzerland 2027. I joined Durham elvet beavers when I was six years old, then transferred to Cubs at Framwelgate-moor when I was 8 and then moved up to scouts just a couple of years ago, I really enjoy all the scouts activities and I am very proud of being one. I have made friends and learned a lots of practical life skills such as orienteering, pioneering, cooking, first aid, survival skill's and so on. I was recently awarded the chief scouts gold award (which is the highest achievement you can get in scouts). I would love to go on this trip because it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity and you get to meet scouts from different countries all around the world, I will learn a lots of things from them through this trip. This year, I did a 40 mile sponsored cycle with my scout group on the 9th of August and I am going to do the junior Great North Run on the 6th of September, I would be very grateful if you could sponsor me, no matter if your donation is small or big, your generosity will be hugely appreciated.
