Kanaio House Fire
Donation protected
Sunday July 5th as we were celebrating a new addition to our Ohana we got devastating news of a fire at my aunties house in Kanaio. Everything happened so suddenly and before you knew it everyone was in their cars and on their way out, 6 fire trucks following seconds behind, but it was too late. Such a beautiful day suddenly came crashing down with such terrible news. My aunty lost everything, her house is now ashes and everything she owned was burnt to the ground, she was left with the clothes on her back. That house held sentimental value to her and to my family, it belonged to her brother that recently passed away 2 years ago and she moved in hoping to keep his memory alive. All that she had and all that was left of my uncle that passed away is now gone. We are grateful she is unharmed and safe and are trying to think positive and move forward. We are asking for your help and are trying to raise this money to rebuild her a new house on the property. We are trying to give her a fresh start and move forward from this terrible accident. Anything helps, the money will be used to clear her an area and build her a little shack so she has a place to live.
