The KAMY (Kindness and Meaning in You) Scholarship was established in honor of my best friend, my mom—Kamy Hurtado Robby. Her life was defined by quiet, unwavering compassion, and she inspired everyone around her to lead with empathy and kindness. The KAMY Scholarship exists to honor that kind of person—the one who steps in, follows through, and chooses compassion without expectation of recognition.

This scholarship is dedicated to supporting individuals who are pursuing careers focused on helping others. Whether it’s nursing, teaching, social work, or any path that puts kindness and service at the center, the KAMY Scholarship aims to empower those who lead with empathy and act with integrity. Scholarship funds may be used to support educational expenses, including tuition, books, school supplies, certification costs, or other needs that help the recipient achieve their academic and career goals.
