SUPPORT KAMRYN CHANEY'S QUEST TO FOLLOW HER VOLLEYBALL DREAMS!
Hi everyone, my name is Kamryn Chaney but everybody calls me “Kami.” I am 13 years old and I will be going to the 8th grade. I am very passionate about playing volleyball and I have been playing since I was 10 years old. My ultimate dream is to earn a spot on the U.S. National and Olympic Teams.
In March of this year, I tried out for the USA Volleyball High Performance indoor training program. This is a pipeline for volleyball players who aspire to reach the elite level of the sport and is intended to grow the pool of young volleyball players who will someday represent the USA on their National and Olympic teams. I tried out against other 13 and 14 year old players and tryouts were held nationwide.
I was selected to attend one of the top USAV High Performance training programs. In less than 2 weeks, I hope to spend 11 days and 10 nights training with other 13 and 14 year old volleyball players from all over the country. We will also compete against teams from the US and international teams during the USAV High Performance Championships as part of the training program.
