Erin came to know the Lord at an early age; it was evident that she had a very gentle spirit and a heart for reaching others. Erin attended church with her family and set her course to reading her Bible daily. She wrote her scriptures down on post it notes throughout her life, and they are still found around the house today. As she followed the Lord's calling, she left home right after high school graduation and drove herself to Camp Red Cloud in Lake City, Colorado to work with the youth. She would spend several summers there as a counselor. This is where she found her love of the mountains. Erin was a 2001 graduate of Humble High School where she ran track and cross country. Erin received a bachelor's degree in Fashion Design from the University of North Texas in 2005. During college, she worked as a volunteer in the student ministry at Denton Bible Church. After graduation, she worked on staff as a student ministry assistant at United City Church for five years. She also worked in the accounting department for Prime Information. Erin also worked during the holiday months at Kohls for extra spending money. She greeted everyone she rang out with her lovely smile and asked how their day was going. If they weren’t having a great day, she would tell them she would pray for them and then she did. Erin lived an amazing life dedicated to serving others. She had a God-given ability to develop relationships with people in a deep and meaningful way. She had a great love for dogs and would run with her beloved Weimaraner’s almost daily. Her greatest love, after the Lord was of course Daniel. Followed by her beautiful children. She loved spending time with them making all kinds of crafts. Using their hands and feet to make treasured Father’s Day gifts. The times she loved greatly were the times at the beach. They could dig and build and get buried in the sand. Then splash in the cool ocean water. She loved being there with them. Next to that she loved saying prayers with them and singing to them Jesus Love Me This I know, for the Bible tells me so, little ones to Him belong, they are weak, but He is strong. Yes, Jesus loves me, yes Jesus loves me, Yes Jesus loves me, the Bible tells me so. If you would like to share memories or pictures with the family, please email them to [email redacted]. As a celebration of life, all are invited to Erin’s Memorial Service at United City Church, 19901 Townsen Blvd., Humble, TX 77338, at 1 pm on Thursday, November 30, 2023.
