Kamp Family Embryo Adoption
Through the miracle of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) we have been blessed with our three beautiful daughters, Eisley (2012), Rowan (2013), and Emerson (2015). In 2018 we began the embryo adoption process. In 2019 we adopted 2 embryos. Unfortunately we lost both embryos. God has placed a desire on our hearts to pursue embryo adoption again.
There are over 600,000 frozen embryos in the United States, and out of those a large majority are adoptable. When a couple goes through IVF there are often more embryos created than can be used by a single couple. Once the couple has completed their family, they are faced with a decision on what to do with their remaining embryos. Couples choosing to donate their embryos are giving them a chance at life! The child (or children) resulting from a pregnancy would be ours in every way, other than genetics. However, we wholeheartedly believe that family is designed by love and God’s hand instead of merely DNA.
We are excited to start this journey, but we can’t do it alone. We are trusting that God will continue to lead and provide for us in every way, as we walk this path.
