Kamila's Keepsakes

1 in 4 pregnancies end in loss- ours was one of them.

Kamila Grace arrived 17 weeks early and spent her short life with us in the NICU. Instead of leaving the hospital with our baby we left with a box of her belongings which included items she had in her incubator and impressions of her hands and feet. These quickly became our most precious possessions.

Our daughter will not get to do her own work in the world, so we will do our best to honour her by providing other families going through similar loss with keepsakes of their own.

Our goal for Kamila's Keepsakes is to donate 30 shadow boxes parents can use to commemorate their little ones' belongings to McMaster NICU each year. Any additional funds raised will go towards helping families with other much needed items to support them in their time of need, such as parking passes, or gas/food gift cards.
