Peace to you all! My name is Kamilah McMillon, and I am currently a third year undergraduate student at California State University, Long Beach majoring in Spanish minor in Africana Studies.
Since my freshman year, I have been interested in traveling abroad and broadening my horizons through travel. will finally have the opportunity to do so! I have applied and been accepted into the Undergrad program at University of Alicante for spring semester!
As a full-time student, and a part time worker it is imperative for me to take this opportunity to grow and develop my Spanish speaking skills
What better way than to do that by fully immersing myself in the place where Spanish began? Aside being able to expand my traveling endeavors , going to Spain for Spring semester will allow me to grow in my personal development and learn more about the world.
Details about the trip: I will be departing from LAX in January to Spain
with other CSULB students
The program focuses on international service learning and cultural immersion. The program creates opportunities for global engagment to address issues of poverty, equity and access to education in the U.S. Aside from tours and lectures, we'll be experiencing art, craftsmanship, music, literature, at the University of Alicante.
The first payment for the trip is due the 1st week in January of $1500, I am asking for your support, guidance, tips, shares, prayers-- ALL OF THE ABOVE to help get me to Spain this spring! Every single donation I receive is an investment in my overall college experience and me, and I hope YOU see it just the same.

Through leadership and service, I currently serve as the Financial Director and Outreach Director for the Black Student Union (@csulb.bsu)and a member of the University Honors Program.
