Hello,

We want to thank the entire community for all the thoughts and prayers that have come Kameron's and his family's way this week. The outpouring of support and amount of Prayer this week has been humbling and is truly a reminder that God works in mysterious and Great ways. When Kameron collapsed at football practice this past Wednesday due to a cardiac event and seizures, it was God's hand that saved his life without question. God also led the nearby training staff to keep him alive for 38 minutes with CPR until other Medical staff and equipment arrived. It is a true miracle Kameron has come thus far and such a short time. He can speak, has full memory and knowledge and has no severe organ damage the doctors have seen. He can tell you all his defensive plays and responsibilities as he is about to take the field. So we are truly grateful for all of this.

However, Kameron still has a long journey ahead. He has been transferred to Egleston Hospital of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, one of the country's top 10 nationally ranked pediatric Heart specialties. He will receive occupational, physical, and speech therapy and be able to explore his heart further to discover what caused this event. Egleston is the best place for Kameron to return to the gentle giant we all know and love.

However, this will add high costs for Kameron and his family in his recovery. So many people have reached out and asked to help we thought this would be a significant way to help him and his family relieve the burden of the additional travel, medical, and household bills they will incur during this time. These funds will be used to help them with those extra costs. His mom has asked that any additional funds be designated to other children needing help. These would be done in honor of Kameron and the trainers at Benedictine who saved his life that afternoon.
