Insane Terrain For Turtle Dove Cambridge
The team at Kameo Recruitment are participating in Insane Terrain this month, to raise money for Turtle Dove's 'Brazil and Beyond' project.
We have set ourselves a goal to raise £5000 to give seven vulnerable young women an experience of a lifetime!
About Turtle Dove Cambridge:
Turtle Dove empower and improve the future of young women who have previously experienced events that have impacted their ability to seek employment. They give them the opportunity to strengthen their self-confidence by providing them with youth support and work experience opportunities within hospitality and small-scale events. The young women gain invaluable skills including; team work, events organisation, communication and working experience.
About 'Brazil and Beyond':
Turtle Dove are raising funds to take a team of seven young women to Brazil where they will work closely with charities that support girls and young women who have been exploited and, at times, trafficked. This is a chance for those involved to gain work experience within a different setting, where they will be heavily involved with planning events and putting on workshops.
This is an incredible opportunity for the team to experience different cultures and develop essential life skills - without the support of Turtle Dove, this would not be possible.
We would be SO grateful if you could spare a few pounds to help us on our way to raising £5000! Every single penny helps :)
