On the night of Tuesday, May 26, 2020, we learned that our dear friend, Kamel Ouchikh, had passed away unexpectedly. The cause of death is currently unknown as the medical examination is ongoing. To make matters worse, Kamel’s family is in France and unable to travel to the United States given COVID19 restrictions. 

We are raising money to help Kamel’s family cover the costs of (a) transporting his body back to France, (b) providing him with a proper funeral and (c) any other incidental  costs (legal, etc.) that may arise. We have set the goal at EUR 25,000 - any additional contributions will be donated to his estate. 

Anyone who knew Kamel knows that he would give anything he had - with no questions asked - to help a friend in need. This is our opportunity to do the same for this great man and his family in their moment of need. 

Please help us provide Kamel with the proper send-off that he deserves as his soul and spirit continue on their journey in the afterlife.
