Hello My Name Is Korie Bankhead I’m the mother of Ka’Mauri Williams and i’m asking for support after a sudden and heartbreaking loss of my son Ka’Mauri

On August 17th Ka’Mauri got out of the house and was found in a retention pond in my apartment complex. This unexpected accident has left our entire family devastated, and myself and my child’s father De’Mauri are facing the unimaginable pain of losing our child.

In the midst of this grief, there are unexpected financial burdens-funeral costs, time off work, and day-to-day living expenses. I’m asking for support to help ease the weight off of myself and my child’s father as we try to navigate this heartbreaking time.

Ka’mauri was only 3 years old and this is my second child i’ve had to bury. No parent should ever have to plan their child’s funeral.
