Kamatham’s family medical and funeral expenses

We are organizing this Gofundme for Naresh Kamatham’s family.

We come to you with heavy hearts to rally support for Naresh Kamatham's family. On Saturday, March 30th, tragedy struck as our dear friend Naresh Babu Kamatham and his family faced a devastating car accident. Naresh's daughter, Anika, aged 5, tragically lost her life in the collision, while his wife, Geethanjali, aged 32, fights for survival with critical brain damage and remains on life support. Their son, Braman, sustained a broken leg and is undergoing surgery. Naresh himself survived with injuries including broken ribs and a fractured shoulder.

The collision occurred between two vehicles around Woodburn area at highway 211 and S Meridian Rd, Hubbard, Oregon while travelling to visit Tulip festival on the occasion of his wife Geethanjali birthday.

Geethanjali had to be airlifted to the hospital, currently on life support in the ICU at the Legacy Hospitals, Portland. Geethanjali's injuries are extensive and faced a life-threatening cardiac arrest and brain damage.

Family is planning for funeral arrangement in India for Anika and need to transport her. The family is now grappling with the emotional and financial toll of this tragedy. They are unprepared for the overwhelming expenses, compounded by Geethanjali's recent job loss and Naresh being the sole provider for the family.

We urgently appeal for your support through this GoFundMe campaign. Your donations will directly aid in transporting Anika's remains to India for her funeral arrangements, covering Naresh's family's medical expenses, including emergency surgeries, hospital bills, rehabilitation, and ongoing care.
