Kama and her family need your help!
In September, 2015 Kama was diagnosed with stage 3b Melanoma. She started a Clinical Trial at Mayo and things were going very well.
In September, 2017 after 2 years of successful treatments , Kama went in for a routine PET scan. It was during this visit that she received some bad news. Her PET scan did not come out clean and she had an active tumor in her left breast. It was later diagnosed as highly invasive lobular carcinoma breast cancer.
Kama started chemo in October,2017. After 20 weeks of chemo, she will have surgery to remove the cancer and then she will receive radiation for about 15-20 days.
Insurance will cover some but not all of her medical expenses and as you can imagine, these expenses will add up fast!
No one should have to worry about finances when they are receiving life saving treatments! This is where Kama and her family need your help! Please consider donating money to help them offset the costs associated with her cancer treatments.
