Kamalani Fishing Inc. - Lahaina Fire Relief
Donation protected
The Kamalani was a locally owned and operated fishing boat that ran out of Lahaina Harbor through 3 generations since 1995. Kamalani Fishing Inc. supplied fresh fish to local restaurants including; Mama's Fish House, Pacific'o On The Beach, Cool Cats, Tropical Fish Market, and Sun Fresh Hawai'i. In addition to providing the island of Maui with fish, Owner and Captain Randy Kinores, also used the Kamalani to escort swimmers who attempted the crossing of the Kalohi Channel, Pailolo Channel, as well as the Auau Channel.
Unfortunately, during the Lahaina Wildfire, the Kamalani caught on fire and sunk, along with numerous other boats in Lahaina Harbor. Sadly, various equipment such as irreplaceable lures, hooks, poles, and gaffs are lost. The Kinores family would love to rebuild the Kamalani as it has shaped generations in the past, and want to experience similar moments with their Keiki. Randy's daughter Leah, loved the boat so much, she even named her daughter Kamalani
In hopes of reestablishing Kamalani Fishing Inc. this "go fund me" was created. Funds will be given directly to Capt. Randy Kinores to rebuild the Kamalani piece by piece.
Thank you for reading and considering a donation to a local family.
