Kamalani Family - Stolen Firefighter Gear
My sister Kat and her husband, Keloni, had their car broken into the early morning of August 26, 2020.
Keloni had just finished a long shift at the fire station and parked his car in front of his home. He went to sleep on the couch (he didn't want to wake up Kat, who stays at home with their two children.)
When he woke up in the morning to get ready for his next shift at the fire station, he found several car windows had been shattered and multiple cars broken into.
The most valuable items stolen from the car was Keloni's fire fighting uniforms and equipment. The fire station does not have the funds to purchase the new equipment for him, so Kat and Keloni will have to purchase the thousands of dollars of equipment using their own funds.
Other items stolen were a laptop, a theragun (Keloni uses it daily after long shifts to ease muscle pain), and personal effects.
We're hoping to raise enough money so that Keloni and Katherine can replace the needed fire fighting equipment primarily, and also cover some of the costs of replacing the laptop, personal effects, and repairs to the car.
Any donation amount is extremely helpful and if you know a firefighter or love what they do you know how important, but expensive, their equipment can be.
Much love
Katherine's family
