Help Me Support Kamala's College Education!
Many of you know that when I was in high school, I inherited a second family and that included Kamala Rose. Though she was a wee two year old when I met her, she is off to Goucher College in Baltimore-- destined for greatness!
Will you help me fund her education before August 20th?
Kamala is pursuing a college education on her journey to achieve Black excellence. In her words, "...like W.E.B. Du Bois, I believe that achieving enough education to participate at every level of society is necessary for black people to achieve equality." She hopes to direct her inner fire, built up by the injustices she has witnessed and experienced in her 18 years, towards studying sociology and pre-law. She hopes to, "understand and challenge the inner workings of our government...and push the agenda of the underrepresented public, and, in turn, bolster a governmental system that will actively serve us all."

Please help me to make sure that Kamala can go to college with minimal debt. My goal is to help her take the next step on her own journey in understanding what Black excellence means for her and sharing her power with the world without financial anxiety.
Her amazing biological family is loving and generous, but without financial resources, so she is on her own and will be footing the bill for college herself.
I am asking you to help me fund Kamala's college education.

- Kamala spent hours and hours applying to external scholarships and received one for $1,000 a year.
- YOUR MONEY is INSURED by GoFundMe for up to $1,000 if for any reason there was fraudulent activity or unfulfilled promises.
