This fundraising effort is for our dear friend & coworker Kalyn & her 3 children - the baby is only four years old and is yet to understand why his daddy has not come home. Kalyn has been a server at LMDB for 3 years. Her husband Kevin was killed in a tragic accident on his way to work last week. The goal is to help relieve a bit of financial stress for a few days, as Kevin was the family breadwinner. She now has to pivot to figure out how to fill the gap, as we approach this winter season. Kaylyn is quiet and efficient, and has served her customers at The Chill with kindness and grace. My goal is to give back to her in the same graceful fashion, in this, her time of need for solace.
