For those of you who knew Kalyan Mamidi, you would known his love and devotion to his family. His passion for cricket is unrivalled amongst the greatest of great cricket fans.

Sadly, 27th April 2021, Kalyan's young life came to a sudden and unexpected end, leaving behind his beautiful wife Neelima and young 3 year old daughter and a baby due in the coming months.

Kalyan will be remembered fondly by everyone for someone that was always willing to lend a hand, be it with a work challenge or that of a personal nature. He will be very missed by his family and friends, everyone that knew him. Neelima has lost her partner, her friend, her support and their gorgeous daughter has lost a hand to hold to help her grow, and his expecting baby will never know his smile and his touch.


His work family at NSW Health will miss his smile and his daily banter. To help his family during this difficult time, please give generously to the Mamidi family to remove the financial stress from an already sad time, allowing the family to grieve at this time.


For those that don't know me, my name is Mona Thind, and I worked with Kalyan. He was my Finance Business Partner that was always helping me. No question was too hard. I set up this GoFundMe page as I want to be Neelima has less financial stress for the moment. Here is what I will be doing.

Funds will be withdrawn, with 2 people present, and images will be posted as updates every 2 weeks. Subsequently, the funds will be given to Neelima either through a direct transfer or a bank cheque.  This too will be done with 2 people present. This is for transparency purposes. As time passes, and if this page remains open, I would like to give Neelima the withdrawal rights and she will be able to manage, when she regains her strength.
