Kalli Marvel-Pulis

The Marvel family is asking for help, my mother Kalli Sage Marvel recently underwent surgery they believed she was not going to make it. she had a hysterectomy due to damage caused by an attack this previous year, causing extreme pain and discomfort. After the surgery unknowing by the doctors, she has a perforated colon caused by the same violent attack. This lead her to have a flesh-eating bacteria called necrotizing fasciitis. This bacteria has eaten away all muscle from her abdominal area which will leave her with a hernia for life. She has spent weeks in the Intensive Care Unit, only recently being taken off the ventilator into a special care unit for abdominal surgeries and recovery. Her abdomen is currently still completely open and unable to be closed due to the continual leakage of her colon which is not healing, despite the doctor's efforts they are looking for more ways to help her win this fight and get her back to her happy adventurous self. But against the odds and the multitude of prayers being sent her way a miracle happened for her and my family. She has been in the hospital for weeks now and is expected to continue to stay there for months to come. My mother Kalli is a spontaneous kind-hearted soul who wears her heart on her sleeve. She brings joy and laughter where ever she goes and has never met a stranger in her life. She recently married her high school sweetheart after thirty years apart and he has not left her side through these extremely difficult times for us all. Kalli has three children and a loving husband who will and have stood by her side and are proud to call a mother and wife. Her friends are her family, she would truly do anything for anyone, she cares for all and wishes nothing but to see the best in people and the world.
