Carry Forward Kalibe's Future

Kalibe Combs was doing what so many of us strive to do: build a better life for the people we love.

At just 23 years old, he was a proud father to his four-month-old daughter, Kiara Rodriguez-Combs, recently engaged to Siarah Rodriguez, and working hard to create a future filled with opportunity and stability for his growing family.

For over a year, Kalibe had served as a Road Ranger, a job he was genuinely excited about because it gave him the opportunity to help people when they needed it most. He took pride in his work, knowing he was making a difference in the lives of others while providing for the people he loved.

He had taken the initiative. He was doing the work. He was building a future.

Tragically, Kalibe's life was cut short when he was struck by a vehicle while working at a highway crash scene. He was only 23 years old, with so much life still ahead of him.

Kalibe was also the beloved son of Aretta Combs, a respected K–12 schoolteacher in Palm Beach County who has dedicated her career to educating and supporting young people. Having spent her life serving families in our community, Aretta is now facing a loss no mother should ever have to endure.

His passing has left Siarah grieving the man she was preparing to marry while caring for their infant daughter. Alongside that heartbreak comes the difficult reality of navigating life without the partner she expected to share her future with.

That's why we're asking our community to come together.

We're raising funds to provide Siarah and Kiara with financial breathing room as they navigate life without Kalibe. Contributions will help support their everyday needs, provide stability for Kiara's future, and allow the family to honor Kalibe's memory in ways that are meaningful to them.

Kalibe spent his time helping others. Now, we're asking our community to help the family he leaves behind.

Nothing can replace Kalibe. We cannot give him back the years he deserved with his daughter or the future he and Siarah were building together.

But we can do something meaningful for the people he loved most.
