Dear friends,

Today is my 38th birthday. I’m celebrating life and all the beautiful opportunities that have unfolded before me. I also must acknowledge the grief in letting go of a dream — continuing my studies with Karuna Institute in Buddhist Psychotherapy in UK. Alas visas and limited finances have proven to be very real obstacles.

In lieu of remaining stuck in “what could have been”, I’d like to step forward into a different program, one that is MUCH closer to home; right here on Saltspring island!!

It’s year-long Circling Facilitator Training, a deep journey into presence, relational awareness, and authentic connection. This training will allow me to develop the skills to hold space for others with more depth and care, and to share practices that foster compassion, truth, and community.

The program tuition is $2000 and while I’m committed to making this happen, I could really benefit from any support. If you feel called, I would be so grateful for any contribution — whether financial, by sharing this fundraiser, or simply through words of affirmation or encouragement.

A huge part of my growth is this- asking for help, humbly acknowledging my limitations and allowing support in.

My intention is not just to learn for myself, but to bring the teachings of this training back into my existing work and out into community. Your support directly helps me to walk this path and extend its benefits outward.
