Kali Kicking Cancer’s Butt!

Our family is in need. Kali Warheit, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, is battling ovarian cancer. Kali has the BRCA gene which had put her at a higher risk for cancer. We were unaware that this genetic mutation ran in the family until we lost our sister, Brooke Rachelle, to cancer two years ago. After Brooke’s passing at age 31, Kali was tested and also diagnosed with the BRCA gene.

Over the last year, due to the high threat of cancer and in an attempt to thwart the threat, Kali had a mastectomy. She had complications from that surgery, but it was ultimately a success. Unfortunately, a few months ago, she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer when they found a large mass on her ovary.

Kali has been so strong after Brooke’s passing, stepping up to help care for our niece and nephew. She’s also been so strong during this process, handling everything with grace, positivity, and trust in the Lord. Kali means the world to our family and she’s been fighting. We ask that you join in that fight.

Kali has been undergoing chemotherapy and will need a full hysterectomy in the near future. Due to the rough effects of treatment, and both her and her husband Mike having to take off work, they are in need of financial assistance. Please consider donating to help them in this trying time.
