Kali Foster-Harsch Accident Recovery Fund
Donation protected
On June 28, my cousin Kali was in an accident with her horse during a training exercise in Langley, BC. Kali sustained a life-threatening injury and was taken to the hospital where she underwent surgery - a surgery that had a low chance of survival. Thankfully - Kali is a fighter and has since been recovering in hospital in Vancouver but remains in the critical care unit under supervision. While she has moments of progress, she is still in fairly serious condition and the recovery looks to be a long difficult road.
Kali is only 19-years-old and her whole life has revolved around horses. She is a happy, hard-working, and funny young woman who loves the outdoors and being active.
Kali has been lucky to have her family by her side. However, since both of her parents and all of her support systems are out of province - the cost of making sure she has a loved one around is getting to be quite high. There will be travel expenses, gas, hotels, food, plane tickets for her parents. We are still learning as we go and there’s still a lot of unknowns of what will happen after she is moved out of the critical care unit. Our hope is to take some financial burden away so she can focus on getting better without the additional financial stress.
A donation to help her through this difficult journey ahead would be greatly appreciated and will go a long way.
Please keep Kali in your thoughts.
