Kali is a 20-year-old trans woman (and Basketdoll!) who is at imminent risk of losing her housing and needs our help.

We met Kali when she drove all the way from Syracuse to Crown Heights (5 hours both ways!) after seeing one of our Basketdolls posts on Instagram. She was a pleasure to play with and made the run so much better.

Kali will have to leave the place she has been living in a matter of weeks because the person she has been staying with is ending the lease due to medical issues. Kali is still living in the closet because her car which she uses for work is in her transphobic family's name. She cannot come out to them for fear of losing her car and her ability to work.

We are raising money to try and get Kali settled into an apartment in Syracuse so she does not have to worry about moving back home and living in the closet with her transphobic family.
