To know Kaleigh Britton is to love her....on July 5th after suffering several days with a "migraine" and vomiting Kaleigh was rushed to Wake Med Children's Hospital where it was discovered she had a brain bleed around her cerebellum. From there she was transferred to Duke to be seen by one of the best neurosurgeons in the country. July 6th this amazing, beautiful, smart and sweet little girl's mother, Kristin, was given the devastating diagnosis of Medulloblastoma, a malignant brain cancer. No words can describe what Kristin must have felt in that very moment. Her and Kaleigh's world was forever turned upside down in an instant. Kaleigh is her only child, her world...her everything.

While she remains in ICU at Duke after undergoing emergency brain surgery the next steps are still unknown.

What is known is that the financial stress will grow exponentially in time.
