KaleidoKids is my exciting new project that will combine yoga & music in a fun way for children and will be run as non-profit, donations-based classes, run from my home.
More than ever, children need the tools to understand, control and express their feelings, to have awareness of and respect for their wonderful little bodies and minds. Simple breathing techniques can calm and reduce anxiety, help you sleep or give you energy; visualisation games can reduce stress and aid focus. Yoga postures increase flexibility, strength, good posture and balance.
Singing and playing together boosts confidence and encourages communication, self-expression, teamwork, turn-taking and listening. Exploring music and songs from different cultures helps cultivate a true community spirit among our children, creating a solid base for their happy, peaceful, co-operative future in our wonderfully diverse society.
This project is in its infancy and awaits a purpose-built hut, safe, secure and insulated for year-round use. This is where I need your help! I have enough for a deposit for the hut materials, but the whole project will cost just over £5k to build, more if you include class resources, like mats, percussion instruments etc. I'm confident that I can get donated items to help the project along, but the hut needs to be built first - the sooner it's built, the sooner I can start welcoming little people in!

I am CRB checked and my qualifications include teaching yoga, children’s yoga and a diploma in Child Behaviour.
What KaleidoKids isn’t:
Tying your children in knots (tempting though it may be)
Singing while standing on our heads (although that’s fun too)
Eating mung beans
Learning how to pronounce ‘quinoa’
Spiritual or religious
What KaleidoKids IS:
A fun exploration of our hidden superpowers!
