Fund for Kaleb Herring's Education

The Charlesbrooke Community has a great mailman in Reggie Herring. He is beloved by all. He works long hours to deliver our mail and packages in the sweltering heat, freezing wind, rain, and snow. He does so always with smile and a sweetness that I wish was contagious.

Everyday bad things happen to good people. People like Reggie.

As many of you already know, last Monday, January 31st, Reggie unexpectedly lost his 36 year-old daughter, Regina Angel Herring, a single mom to her 8 year-old son, Kaleb.

For years, Regina lived with Reggie and his wife, Denise. Together, they helped Regina raise Kaleb. Reggie's wife, Denise, passed away less than two years ago from kidney disease. Now, with Regina's sudden passing, it is up to Reggie to parent Kaleb.

As a US Postal employee, Reggie, is limited to what he is permitted to accept in cash gifts from any resident. This is the reason this "Go Fund Me" page is set up for his grandson, Kaleb and his future educational needs. Whatever Kaleb chooses to do in the future, and I'm sure it will be great, he will need help.
